Our Beaver colony has also grown and expanded and since January 2007 we now run two colonies, Millpond Beaver Colony and Spring Beaver Colony. Both colonies run identical programmes and plan to join together frequently for many events. These meetings run directly before the two Cub Packs in Emsworth, and as such will allow for a smooth transition from Beavers to the Cub section on the same night.

The Beaver Scout Section offers young people aged 6 to 8 years of age, a whirlwind of friendship and adventure through a fantastic programme of activities. We run a programme full of exciting activities on Colony evenings, including games and activities, craft, awareness of our environment, community participation and various excursions. Our busy programme means that we are able to plan to work towards a number of badges, Challenges and Staged-Activity badges. The main emphasis for Beavers, however, is having fun!
